I have tried using less soap and i have tried using different soap but the problem still occurs.
Kitchen sink backing up into other sink. We have used a 35 foot rod and hit clay is it possible answered by a verified plumber. Fill the sink the one not connected to the garbage disposal with 3 to 4 inches of waternothing more nothing less. If it has water in it bail some out into a bucket until you have about 3 or 4 inches remaining.
Then pour one cup of baking soda down each drain followed by one cup of vinegar down each drain. Fill the sink opposite the disposal drain with about 3 to 4 inches of water. My kitchen sink will not drain it backs up into the other sink.
You can also try unclogging your kitchen sink with a solution of vinegar and baking soda. First bail out any standing water in your sink. Avoid using chemical drain cleaners especially if you are on septic as they damage the biology inside the septic tank.
To begin with fill the sink thats opposite to the garbage disposal with water. If you see this know that there is something going on in the pipes and that something is slowing down the flow of liquid. But if the sink has some water already thats fine though make sure its just three to four inches.
Here are the steps to stop your garbage disposal from backing up into the other sink. In our new house we have a double sink in the kitchen. Wait five minutes and run hot water down each drain to clear it of the solution.
If you have the kitchen sink plunger the first step is to try and see if that will work. My problem is that as i am washing soap suds creep up on to the clean side of the sink. I use one side to wash and rinse dishes and the other side to drain the dishes in.
